Blush is a bride’s best friend at the moment, so much so they’re even shunning the traditional white to where its delicate hues on their big day. So what better colour to pair with blush than navy; another traditional shade that grounds blush without taking away any of its prettiness.

Blush and navy can be easily brought to the forefront of your wedding by opting for navy suits – which are an incredibly popular choice for groomsmen in 2016 – and blush bridesmaid dresses, or even, as we said earlier, blush for the bride. A naturel palette can then be used for the other outfit accessories so that the colour scheme doesn’t become too overrun. Some simple foliage and cream blooms, for example, looks elegant against blush.

This colour scheme is also a lovely option if you don’t want to have any one colour too centre stage. The navy can be seen as a softer black and the blush can be included in such a subtle way that is almost just one shade of cream.
