Save the Dates

Save the Dates are quite a big deal in the wedding process as they are the first glimpse your guests get at your wedding. These can be anything from a luggage tag to almost as involved as the wedding invitation itself. The advantage of sending out Save the Dates as part of your wedding stationery is that you let your guests know the date so that they can pencil it in their calendars without having to know any other details yet.

Invitations / Evening Invitations

Wedding invitations and indeed evening invitations are something that every bride and groom schedule. These are the way in which you let you guests know all about your wedding day; from timings to dress code, location to style and feel of the day.

RSVPs

If you like, you can include RSVPs in your wedding invitation send. Especially if you are making them yourself, it is a nice way to continue your theme through your wedding stationery and gives your guests more of a nudge to not leave replying too late.

Order of Service

Whether you are having a wedding in a church or a civil ceremony, most couples choose to provide an Order of Service as a way for the guests to follow along and know what is coming next and who is doing what. These can be exactly the same design as the invitations or you can do them a little differently with a few similarities to your invitations. However you like really! Order of Service are quite a good element to try and DIY as often the additional pages can add up in cost!

Menu Cards & Table Numbers

If you are going all out then you can include these in your stationery order. However, table numbers are such an easy element to DIY that you could save the pennies and create these at home. If your wedding stationery is following a similar pattern or design, then pick out a few colours that match well to use. If you are having more of a bohemian day with less matched items then you needn’t worry at all!

Table Plans

Everyone needs to know where they are sitting! Organise a Table Plan to have at the entrance to your reception so your guests will know where to navigate towards. Table Plans are quite a bit feature in the wedding reception and so couples often choose to include these as part of their wedding stationery order. Especially if you have a certain colour palette, or design, the Table Plan will fit seamlessly in with your other decor choices.

Thank You Cards

The perfect way to wrap up your wedding day is to send Thank You cards. Again, consider how you would like your guests to receive these and how much you would like them to be an extensive of your big day. Opt for the same design as your wedding stationery, or, have a look at the photo printing websites who offer personalised cards at really great rates.
