Lace is the fabric of weddings. It is elegant and timeless and everything in between. It can be draped, wrapped, hung, worn and it will continue to be for years to come.

Everyone should incorporate a little lace into their big day and here’s how you can:

If you want to choose a lace WEDDING DRESS then you aren’t going to be restricted to one style. There are hundreds – thousands probably! – of designs that allow you to have as much lace as you like in the skirt, bodice and sleeves. Lace works particularly well if you fancy having a wedding dress with sleeves – be them capped or long – as the overall looked remains delicate.

There are endless choices when it comes to LACE DECORATION. Some of my favourites are pictured above, most notably the lace table runners. These are super easy to fashion; they can be as easily made as simply buying some lace from a fabric shop and hemming the ends at the length of your wedding tables.

Lace can either be made to look quite traditional at a wedding or quite bohemian and I love this flexibility. If you teem it with a one or two colour theme and traditional morning suits, then it will look elegant and timeless. Opt for a natural bouquet, outdoor setting for your reception and the accompanying lace with give off an ethereal edge. As with all wedding decisions, completely up to you and the result with be a beautifully personal one.
