Oh how I just love this look. I love fruit and I love weddings and I love fruit incorporated into wedding décor! It’s fresh and it’s fun and it can be used and displayed in many different ways.

Given the variety of fruit, you can easily find one that will fit in with the look and feel of your wedding. For example, you might be going for a rustic wedding day, with deep pinks and reds and oranges. I love the idea of having cherries in brown paper bags – oh so simple – as the wedding favours, which would look great alongside such a colour palette.

Lemons smell delicious and look great in both centrepieces, alongside floral displays and in drinks, of course.  One of my favourite inspiration photographs is the one above with the lemons and leaves accompanying cathedral candles. How effective! This would look so natural in a Cyprus wedding; using natural décor for an earthy, relaxed feel.

I also love how effective using fruit for centrepieces is, especially when laid over stems of foliage down the centre of long tables. Flowers can be very expensive and a little doesn’t really go too far, so using fruit is cost effective too. Of course, fruit around wedding cakes is tried and tested so why not use some less used fruit, such as blueberries, figs and grapes.
