Balloons at weddings have had a big come back. Their quality has massively improved and they can be accessorised in so many different ways to accompany any style of wedding! The photo opportunities are endless and they're a decoration choice that doesn't cost so they’re certainly worth investigating for your big day.
Balloon Release
A lot of couples like to finish their big day with a special something. You can have fireworks, release Chinese lanterns and another great idea is to release balloons. You could do this in several different ways. Everyone could have a balloon tied onto their chair, and after the wedding breakfast each person unties their balloon and releases it as a group. Or you could have the balloons separately, prepped for the release. Great for photos and great for marking the start or end to a particular section within your wedding day.
Giant Balloons
Have you seen the giant balloons? They’re super cool! Most are about 3ft in size and they’re just incredible in photographs. You don’t even need to buy too many, just a couple for when you and your fiancé go off and have some couple photographs. Accessorise these balloons with tassels and sequin ribbon and you’ll have created such a feature for only a little bit of dosh!
Feature
If you fancy splashing a little more cash, there are now balloon artists – not those that make animals out of balloons! – who will create an archway or similar in the colour palette of your choice. Or, go simple, and simply have helium balloons that you let float up to the ceiling of your venue. Then you’ll be eating your wedding breakfast under a canopy of colour... GORGEOUS!
